The song's core message, that the woman is amazing as she is, rhymes with the psalmist's wonder that humans are fearfully and wonderfully made, even if the song doesn't trace that worth back to the Maker.

The song is kind and wholesome in spirit, but its horizon is the beloved's physical appearance. It doesn't reach beyond the human toward anything transcendent. Not dark, just earthbound.
The clear intent is to encourage a woman who struggles to see her own worth. That impulse is genuinely good and caring.
