The app matched the wrong song
Recognition listens for about ten seconds, so background noise or a quiet speaker can throw it off. Move closer to the sound and try again — or skip the mic entirely and type the title and artist into search. If a reading is attached to the wrong recording, use the feedback option on the result card and we’ll straighten it out.
A reading seems off
Readings are a starting point for your own discernment, not a verdict — but if the lyrics are wrong or the reading misses the heart of a song, tell us. The quickest route is the feedback option on the reading itself; it sends us the song along with your note.
Why can’t I get another fresh reading today?
Songs already in the library are always free and instant, in any quantity. Brand-new songs take real work to weigh, so each device gets a daily allowance of fresh readings. The counter resets every day.
Where is my history kept?
On your phone, and only there — there’s no account and no cloud copy. That means we can’t recover it for you: deleting an entry, or the app itself, removes it permanently. The details are on our privacy page.
Can I use WWJLT without the app?
Yes — the website does the same weighing. Weigh a song by title and artist, or browse everything weighed so far.
